The Shaftsbury Homes TS, Arethusa, she was moored at Lower Upnor on the River Medway, some years ago she was sold, dismasted, and towed across the pond to the Big Apple, the company that owns her now is in financial difficulty and her future is in question.

I say the Lottery Fund should finance her return to the UK where funds can be raised for her renovation, and in the long term take her place on the Medway so we can appreciate this Grand old Lady.



Sadly this brief explosion of blossom is now sadly coming to an end, all of the fruit blossom was about a month behind and did not last as long as it usually does.
